I signed up but the piece of shit erased the first team I agonizingly selected so I gave up before the tournament started. No idea how I even earned points lol.

A friend of ours is in Colombia right now and sent a video of the reaction to the first goal and it was just off the scale.

the revelation of the finals so far for me is that in spanish they call the last 16 "octavos de final" so i am lobbying for english to either adopt "eighth finals" or "octavos" for this otherwise inconsistently named round of the competition.

with semis and quarters, octavos makes a helluva lot more sense than 'last 16' tbh. i'm in favor.
