I'm not shocked that Mexico doesn't look as sharp, they sat back and let Germany have 2/3rds possession and feasted mostly on counterattacks. roles reversed in this match

Fair enough yes this would be a diff sort of match for Mexico.

xpost at least it's been relatively unobtrusive here. in Major League Soccer in the states, we have VAR, but half the time the video reviews take 5 fucking minutes, they come back on the field and give someone a phantom red card, and forget to tack it back on to stoppage time.

I am overall though not a huge fan of Video review in a sport like this. goal line technology is ok tho

yeah Neanderthal it has been administered pretty efficiently this tournament tbf and there's no point arguing with FIFA's idea of progress but it's just waste, really. goal-line tech works fine.
