Like I almost want to believe this is some strategy to get the current narrative out of the news but this plays directly into the “these people don’t care about kids” thing and plus we know no one in this administration talks to each other

Sometimes when I am volunteering at my kid's old elementary school I ask a kindergartner or 1st grader what, without them looking, their shirt says. Much of the time they've forgotten or didn't pay attention or otherwise have no idea their shirt says "Batman" or "Unicorns are awesome" or something like that. It's kind of adorable. In a child.
