The interviews I've seen so far don't seem super new/insightful to me if you've already read How We Get Free, which this seems to derive a lot from, but I'm happy to see more of that sort of analysis kicking around

Are there any lefty podcasts that talk about good things that are happening or say "here's how we can win"? Because the despair is starting to feel too real for me.

The best source for that is probably The Dig and other pods that dig into left electoral strategy and stuff like that - by nature a lot more wonky/dry, though. Trillbillies is generally pretty good at keeping the tone light, plus added regional charm.

The Dig is heavy. The Trillbillies are definitely one place I turn when everything is too much.

I like to check in with Street Fight now and again for this too, though it's a little too casual/digressive for my tastes

I gave them another shot recently because they had a couple of guests I already like (David Roth, Libby Watson) and I'm enjoying it a lot more than when I first tried it out in early 2017. you're probably right about the shift from bashing centrists to bashing the GOP. I can appreciate the former up to a point, but when it becomes your primary animating principle it's just pathetic and annoying. early 2017 was not really a time when I was super-enthused to listen to three dudes endlessly dunking on Hillary Clinton.
