for that matter, i'm not exactly sure how a white man making himself the center of attention - again - is supposed to constitute "running interference". if someone other than a white man asks me to use my white male-presenting body in those ways, i'll do whatever i can to help, but wilkinson and ladd aren't going to get my allegiance.
