Probably. On the other hand, tons of cases are already in court and are going to outlast his presidency, that stuff is going to have long-term consequences.

i have my doubts.

Too many constitutional issues have been raised and are going to require being addressed. Some people in trump’s circle are likely to go to jail. I doubt he will suffer any personal consequences himself.

Things are definitely going to be investigated tho. They already are.

i'd agree that the fight is going to happen, but assuming an outcome is not really warranted. yeah, that's the way it turned out in 1974, that's the way it turned out in 2008. both of which are a pretty good argument for not letting it turn out that way this time. i'm a disgruntled centrist - i think compromise is good and desirable and the best possible basis for government. i'm also persuaded it's impossible right now. the natural tendency of elected representatives to forgive and compromise has been, and is likely to continue to be, checked by the refusal of the people who elected them to allow it.
