i had a double double for the first time in years recently and holy fuck what a terrible taste. i am seriously fine with virtually any bad coffee but that amount of just white-ass sugar and milk made it taste like... well, like hot kool-aid without the kool-aid crystals

just looked up what a double double is and at the american tim hortons dunkin donuts they call that at least in the boston area the birthplace and spiritual home of dunkin regular

I only had a double double once - the first Canada day I spent in Canada (i moved here july 4th so like a year into living here) I went to Tim Horton's for the first time and bought a box of timbits and a double double and took them home to consume while listening to the Tragically Hip - and it was gross.

Like 6 or 7 or so years ago my parents decided to buy a coffee shop despite never going to coffee shops, my mom never drinking coffee and my dad only drinking weak pods. What a shitshow that was. I mentioned that I was drinking Gimmee Coffee just because it was in my neighborhood, so they took that as truth and my little asian mother, who doesn't even drink coffee, went to Ithaca for a week to the Gimmee Coffee barista school or whatever it was.

tim hortons coffee pwns Dunkin d, foodwise they’re comparable but Tim’s more innovative couple years ago they had this monstrosity donut that had bacon bits and on top and like 4 oz of caramel filling

there aren’t many DD in Canada but there was one on my block age 12-15 that went out of business when they last smoking laws, loved the weird ppl who just sat there smoking cigs all day, sometimes bought us booze. one time we saw a guy watching pron on his laptop, he had his back turned to the wall which was made of glass lol and we were skateboarding in the parking lot outside

there was a 24 hour dunkin donuts in a prominent street corner in glasgow from when i was a little kid tim i was about 15. it was a grim place.
