my finishing date has been officially set, as of June 1 i'll be a free and temporarily more pecunious man, so assuming i haven't succumbed to romantic mania by then i think at some point this summer it should happen

now i'm going to the pub not because i don't know what else to do with myself while i hopefully wait for a text but because i don't know what else to do with myself on a Saturday afternoon full stop. i think the second is the better thing to tell meself.

there were points yesterday when i just had to tell myself i was cosplaying Bukowski to preserve my own sanity, one of them was when the woman i'd met the night before aged 20 years before my eyes, then when i found out she was still younger than i am, then when the first pub turned us away cos she's some kind of notorious, then when i was sat outside Primark with a broken plastic bag spilling shoplifted underwear all over the pavement and really kinda hoping she wasn't coming back

hoping i can find a pub today showing the wedding instead of boring old Magic Weekend rugby or the FA cup final, i was sat in one pissing myself at his mother's funeral so it only seems right

your post reminds me of an old work colleague friend who got caught trying to steal a load woman's underwear from BHS. He had been sectioned a couple of times and used to say: "the love-bomb is getting strong" when he was on a bad cycle. He was convinced Mark E Smith was out to get him and had wrote multiple songs about his plan to murder him and would often quote lyrics that proved this! Not that I'm inferring you are on a similar trajectory, the post just reminded me of poor old Graham with the stolen underwear!
