Kameron is going somehow make it into the final having spoken the least out of all of them.

This could be the red herring win, like the one Ivy Winters won right before getting kicked off.

That said, Kameron’s runway looks have been consistently very good to great, so it wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if she did make it to the finish line.

I loved Ru's suit in this episode, and how he has bounced back from whatever illness he had at the start of the season. The slap challenge was one of my favourite mini challenges.

Yeah, if the follow up is, like the perfume challenge in S5, where Kameron ends up wiping out, then I expect it could also be where the currently winless Miz Cracker, much like Alaska, finally gets some wind in her sails.

Asia's lipsync was so joyful and, dare I say, delightful.

Great choice of song too -- amazed it had never turned up until now!

That heart-to-heart btw Asia & Vixen was wise & kind & so beautiful. Asia literally turned my face into a heart. She has such a kindness in her.

I loved this mini challenge, I loved this challenge, the lipsync, the judges. Good stuff all round.

Monet could be Bob the Drag Queen level great if she just polished her look. It’s like she hurries or something, every week it’s like “OH! ...oh.” The visible tape this week majorly bummed me ouuuut bcz she was SO good as Cher. My fave by far.

Sad that Vixen left bc I love her fire & she’s so rad but also my god that child is kinda exhausting too

How has Kameron been so invisible??? Like do the editors seriously have no material to work with?

In one of her recap videos, Cracker said that Kameron made a conscious decision to not give the editors anything they might use to distort her.

Willam said that’s exactly what Roxxxy did during AS2. Don’t give them the drama, they’ll keep you there longer, waiting for it

And yeah re Kameron, it also helps that there were such big personalities playing off each other that she could more easily hide in plain sight. That Untucked discussion this week is telling in turn.

i don't usually watch michelle's segment after the show (or that plays after the show when you watch drag race online) but the vixen came off much better in that, and looked super cute w/ some stubble to boot. this is besides the point but the vixen really should model, aside from doing drag.

in any event, i find the ongoing discussion on the show about the concept of the angry black woman to be very interesting... i wonder if there's ever been another moment in reality tv history where there was a real time on camera meta conversation about how the show might portray one its contestants vis a vis a racial stereotype, and then that discussion being aired on TV and made the dominant storyline of the season? i find it hard to call heads or tails on the vixen either way bcuz of the inherent manipulation of everything we see, but i put a lot of stock in asia's analysis of the whole situation in this most recent episode.

cracker is downright wonderful

but imo it's clear at this stage that the producers/ru herself are not big fans, or at least aren't excited about another white comedy queen for s10.

You know part of me wants the final to have the top four do their thing and then Ru awards it to Miss Vanjie for the hell of it.

Vanjie and that sponge have already gotten more quality screen time than anyone else.

Anyway, at this point, I'd say that yeah, Cracker and Monet seem the least likely to make the final four.

Agreed. Also I do wonder what it would have been like if someone had been sent home this week -- is one of next week's makeover guests on standby?

God, I found that challenge painful, though. Unfunny, overlong, POOR.

Next week's is MUCH more interesting already.

It's a fine line between camp and crap, but this season's written challenges seem far more on the latter side than usual.

Agreed. Bearing in mind the calibre of the queens this season, I haven’t found it as entertaining as previous ones.

I'm guessing that Cracker approaches her comedy analytically, so when she didn't win any of the comedy challenges, she started getting in her head and is kind of in a vicious cycle of self-doubt. And that's kind of emblematic of this bizarro season, where the look queens are outperforming the comedy queens in the comedy challenges. (Acquarium can be intentionally funny, who'da thunk?)
