Why are we talking about kicking Grrr Garfield's ass? Someone maybe had too much coffee. I'm calling the ASPCA.

I was going through a weird whip cream phase on top of my ice black coffee a couple of years ago. I set a glass on my bedside table one morning and went back to the kitchen and when I came back my boxer dog of 10 years was on the bed finishing the glass. He had never done that before. I freaked out that his heart would explode but he was fine.

Less offensive than Nespresso if only because their reach is less.

I think by volume America uses the most pods and Keurig pods outnumber nespresso pods about a million to one here

How does Lavazza rank? It was years ago but I remember downing it like crack during one weird job.

having an Eight O Clock Colombian Peaks K-Cup cof now which is also not terrible. Once a week I need to make the 20 minute walk from the office to Bluestone Lane to atone for this though.

xp yeah when we moved to our current office I was talking to the boss about how we should get a good machine and he said I could research and find one. I had this whole plan to get a technivorm moccamaster and a good burr grinder and some kind of single origin subscription service. But then it started to seem like it would be a pain to have to make at least two pots of coffee per day (morning and afternoon) and do all the cleanup and everything and I didn't want to add to the workload of our jack-of-all-trades paralegal/assistant person. Small office too so a lot of coffee would probably be wasted.

i just bought a bunch of cheap kcups from Grocery Outlet to have at work. Brand is Founding Fathers. I have been amusing myself coming up with blend names: “Wooden Teeth blend”
“Pamphlet Fight Blend”
Coffee itself is fine.

Main reason was that my $5 morning almond milk lattes were starting to add up so I need to dial those back to a weekly or weekend indulgence.

plus i can also make them at home... but mornings are hard for me to motivate to do much beyond eating breakfast & making myself vaguely presentable
