PULIS TIME

you're my luger not my rifle (Noodle Vague), Friday, 20 April 2018 10:49 (eight years ago)

Low would seem a good fit, wouldn't he.

Rodgers would be hilarious tho

groovypanda, Friday, 20 April 2018 10:50 (eight years ago)

pulis would be a george graham for a generation of arsenal fans who don't really understand what the club is all about. there's a moral imperative for this to happen imo

Roberto Spiralli, Friday, 20 April 2018 14:01 (eight years ago)

THE PULIS MUST BE BUILT

"It's great to be back". Look at that natural chemistry and effortless bonhomie there, god knows why they ever failed!

I know the betting is meaningless but still lol @ Brendan Rogers being steamed into the 5/4 fav at some bookies.

calzino, Friday, 20 April 2018 14:10 (eight years ago)

steaming is an apt adjective

Cortez the Self-Harmer (Noodle Vague), Friday, 20 April 2018 14:11 (eight years ago)

I hope he gets the job.

(Henry) Green container bin with face (Tom D.), Friday, 20 April 2018 14:12 (eight years ago)

I can't believe anyone could have a problem with that narcissistic creepazoid managing their club!

calzino, Friday, 20 April 2018 14:15 (eight years ago)

HE'S NO PULIS

Cortez the Self-Harmer (Noodle Vague), Friday, 20 April 2018 14:18 (eight years ago)

I'll say one thing for Rodgers, he really relishes beating Rangers, to an almost (Neil) Lennonesque degree.

(Henry) Green container bin with face (Tom D.), Friday, 20 April 2018 14:23 (eight years ago)

there are tribes in Borneo who've had no contact with Western civilization who would relish beating Rangers

Cortez the Self-Harmer (Noodle Vague), Friday, 20 April 2018 14:25 (eight years ago)

I feel like this is a great opportunity to ruin the career of a young up and coming English manager like your Sean Dyches or your Eddie Howes

cajunsunday, Friday, 20 April 2018 14:27 (eight years ago)

(xp) Yes, but a Deila or a Strachan, with Celtic comfortably winning, would have taken off a few leading players, stuck on a holding midfielder or two - Rodgers brought on three forwards as substitutes.

(Henry) Green container bin with face (Tom D.), Friday, 20 April 2018 14:30 (eight years ago)

Poch in

and vice versa. In fact, winning 50-0 against a scratch team of bemused and scared tribesmen from the Kalimantan forests with only the barest understanding of the game's rules and none of tactics, at a packed Ibrox, that would be the perfect matchday experience for the fascistic bullies who make up the entirety ofthe vast majority ofa majority ofa disturbingly large proportion of Rangers support

Google lobster hierarchies (Bananaman Begins), Friday, 20 April 2018 14:38 (eight years ago)

Tribunal result for Ampadu comes in and is, IMO, pretty derisory for a player who's gone straight into the first team squad.

If I didn't know better I'd almost the football authorities in this country have structured things to support the richest at the expense of the least rich.

Tim, Friday, 20 April 2018 14:53 (eight years ago)

shurely not?

Cortez the Self-Harmer (Noodle Vague), Friday, 20 April 2018 14:56 (eight years ago)

Evidence please

Master of Treacle, Friday, 20 April 2018 15:04 (eight years ago)

As much as Rangers are a bloated irrelevance/joke these days it's funny to hear people (still) talk about them the way Bobby Gillespie talks about...anything

Louis Jägermeister (jim in vancouver), Friday, 20 April 2018 17:24 (eight years ago)

is it okay to wish Arsenal to not win anything in the next 22 years just so that the arsenaltv types suffer endlessly?

Van Horn Street, Friday, 20 April 2018 18:39 (eight years ago)

lmao @ 'evidence please' ya i rlly was going out on a limb with that one

Lol they're real flat track bullies against the lesser Prem teams

la vache qui pleure (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 21 April 2018 13:17 (eight years ago)

I don't think Southampton are going to get more than 1 win, but will still be keeping a portable DAB ear on how Watford Palace is going today. Just hurry up + get relegated you worthless dross in the bottom 3!

calzino, Saturday, 21 April 2018 13:35 (eight years ago)

look at any of their forums or rangers twitter. the words tarrier and taig will never be far from your eyes

I've seen those posts on the forums....there's obviously a brazen-ness that comes with people who don't give a shit how badly they come across, which is depressing in itself.

I was a big fan as a kid, I'm from Northern Ireland and for a lot of us they were a big deal. But tbh it's been over 20 years since I could call myself a Rangers fan and too many scumbags make me think that it's too much hassle to be involved again in any sort of active way. Can't be bothered.

Master of Treacle, Sunday, 22 April 2018 05:19 (eight years ago)

Stoke one-up calz. :-o

Google lobster hierarchies (Bananaman Begins), Sunday, 22 April 2018 13:19 (eight years ago)

yeah! it looks like the old classic 38 pts might be needed to survive in the EPL this year. I have faith in Dyche's Burnley to at least get a draw tbh. I think we'll get beaten by Everton next week and dragged into the mire tho.

calzino, Sunday, 22 April 2018 13:27 (eight years ago)

it's bad enough Birmingham staying up, can't happen to Stoke too

la vache qui pleure (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 22 April 2018 13:39 (eight years ago)

I like the look of Shaqiri, but any team with Adams, Crouch and Shawcross regularly starting is a living monument to the repugnant football-crime of Pulisball imo.

calzino, Sunday, 22 April 2018 13:51 (eight years ago)

Burnley equalise!

lbi's life of limitless european glamour (Le Bateau Ivre), Sunday, 22 April 2018 13:51 (eight years ago)

And so do West Ham smh

lbi's life of limitless european glamour (Le Bateau Ivre), Sunday, 22 April 2018 13:56 (eight years ago)

not a bad day of results for the non-playing bottom-enders in the end! Burnley had a few good chances in the last few minutes and should have put one of them in the net, but a point for Stoke hopefully means they are doomed.
