I am wearing a burgundyish I suppose top which was ridiculously cheap in the New Look sale, black PETITE trousers bought from Topshop in a consideration that I should probably get some work trousers that fit, black knee socks underneath the trousers (yes, my office is extremely hot anyway but still je ne regrette rien), grey new balance trainers because my feet were aching this morning and the council doesn't seem to care, a burgundyish bra that doesn't really fit very well and some lilac pants. And a slight film of SWEAT bcz this office is RANK and BOILING.

I have given up on clothes as being things that work on other people. The only body wrapping I desire is a duvet. Not that I'm grumpy because I'm broke because my new pay hasn't come through yet and even when it DOES I'll still be broke.

I bet you all look crap in the clothes that I want anyway. I was wearing kilts years ago. And why is it IMPOSSIBLE to find a publically/place other than sl1m3l1ght! wearable black pleated skirt ANYWHERE? *Why*? No size 6 people answer this because I hate you all.

God I'm bored. BORED BORED BORED.

And I want some red shoes. Please can anyone else in London near me not wear or buy red shoes until I can get some else I will be UPSET.

Tra la la. A funny thing happened to me on the way into work this morning. Well, it might have done had I not been busy reading word lists. Yes, my outfit was accessorised with a Scrabble book. Oh there goes some mobile phone interference with my monitor! Will I have text? OF COURSE THE ANSWER IS NO.

See, THIS rambling is what happens when you block forms of online journal/diary/rambling RUBBISH from me. Can I get into Blogger? NO.

black jacket with the sleeves rolled up to 3/4 length
loose black slacks
(all of the above are in some sort of light nylon/linen/cotton blend)

In the category of inner clothing:

white bra (always!)
white granny-style underwear (always!)
sheer black trouser socks

In the category of shoes:

black trainers (UK, because that's the best name for them), with a pair of stylish-looking black pumps on the side should I need to walk away from the desk (I'm seriously cheating here)

In the category of accessories:

gold/brown wire-rimmed glasses (more of a necessity than anything else)
smallish silver earrings
silver wristwatch
black ponytail holders (my hairstyle of choice is usually a bun)

In the category of makeup:

Max Factor combination foundation/powder (ivory beige)
Rimmel eyeshadow (Desert -- it's a brownish color)
Rimmel lipstick (Enigma -- it's a light wine color)
no blush because I always look like a clown when I have blush on, no eyeliner because my eyes hate me enough already, and no mascara because my eyelashes are long enough already

I'm looking forward to getting home and putting on my blue and white flowery nightgown and old white socks and watching Trinny and Susannah on tonight's "What Not to Wear" and wondering what they would think of my working/lounging clothes.

Ok, enough clowning around for a workday. ;)

Except that with my GLASTO SPOILS I am going to go and buy red shoes white tights and a black dress and hopefully a BOATER so I can be ROMANA!!! Yes!! YAY!! BOUNCE!!!

I'm wearing a crisply ironed mustard button-down with a plain collar, khakis, white socks, and brown suede shoes. I didn't try very hard today. Ask me on Friday.

I am wearing today black inappropriately snug for work pants, a black labcoat, and a blue blouse. I put on wedge sandals today because supposedly it's going to rain the rest of the week so I decided I wanted to wear sandals. I have on my charm bracelet (unfortunately the booze charm fell off, what the fuck?), amy marquisite (sp?) cross necklace, and silver earrings. And of course underwear, what the hell?

Just kidding.

But if you are, then I'll tell you; I shop at the 70% off racks of various places, and make Target a vital part of my dressing agenda. I only buy a couple of pieces of jewelry a year. All the makeup I own (including nail polish) costs less than $15 and lasts for about four months.

Oh! Right now, I'm wearing underwear (always!), my light sunflower-print nightgown, and a towel wrapped around my head because I took a shower shortly before coming here.

I am wearing a pink tshirt with Miffy on it in a pink housedress, black trousers with a short brown skirt worn over them. The pink tshirt was borrowed in an emergency this morning after accidentally staying over at my friends house with lots of BEER. Mmm-mmm. Thank goodness I found a tshirt. Thank you. THANK YOU.
