which part- amber doing coke with her roommates or never sharing hers? they all talk about doing coke a lot. nick, adam, stav, and amber. i think it's hilarious that nick is "sober" but just does a ton of coke instead. bums me out, blow is the worst drug in every way. also if you dig into that quoted tweet thread there's some really disingenuous stuff about amber "enabling" nick, as if he needs to be coerced into doing cocaine.

Street Fight posted a three year-old lost episode with Will talking about Sons of Anarchy, it's really good. I think I'd like their show a lot more if they had someone to keep them on track or keep it to one or two issues, episodes just bounce around too much.

I don't know how you guys can listen to Cumtown. I've never managed to get past a couple of minutes they're seemingly just the most awful people.

re Cumtown i didn't like it much at first but it grew on me. like i can 'get' the ironic riffing on race & jews & uh intellectual disabilities, but most of the gay "jokes" just seem dumb and unfunny, in the way a shitty 13 year old idiot yelling "fag" is dumb and unfunny. and the Adam bashing just kind of gets boring after a while. lots of times there's not even really a joke there. i saw em live last month at their "funny moms" show and it was indeed very funny. they're actually pretty good comics and managed more or less to avoid the cartoonishly ott vulgarity and bleak nihilism often exhibited on the pod.

that said it's def not for everyone and i certainly can't blame folks for absolutely loathing them/ it.

yeah i can get this. Street Fight boys were fun and very much in their element the one time i saw them live, prob better than on the pod (which i actually do like and listen to fairly regularly). also Bryan is Good At Twitter.

yeah i didn't mean for my earlier post to be construed as a defense. they are wholly indefensible. and yes, the race jokes et al definitely scan as asshole, but they kind of are actual "jokes", i.e. w/ a punchline etc, whereas lots of times the gay stuff is just them reveling in calling something or someone "gay".

Long story short, as I understand it, Amber and select others didn't respond very.....tactfully when some members of the DSA disability working group claimed they were left out of the Medicare For All campaign initiative. (It turns out the M4A people just had the wrong contact info, lol)

yeah, i was gonna say a person can be disabled and also an asshole. i know from experience. that twitter feed was just ridiculous, initial complaints aside. the escalation and calls for people to cancel their patreon subs? get over yourself...
