I have recently been doing some research into the lads of the steppe. The president of Chuvashia is charismatic and happy man, which given his position means he mingles with lots of different groups of people, from the dubious to the dazzlers.
.It appears that due to his general all round game, these disparate groups of people become lads for the duration of whatever state function is in play. Here are some of my most recent findings

Looks like there is a problem with the post again. Those are not my most recent findings and that is not the president of Chuvashia or any of his mates. That appear to be a documentary about a gangster, who it seems was also a lad in his own way, up to all sorts he was.
