I'm beyond the point of thinking critically about Guy these days. Probably because I (and most people, including ilxors) would probably eat at many of the places he highlights on his show (2x bonus if it's a damn food truck). And also because Food Network runs it so repeatedly during weeknights that I'm at that point where Triple D has sort of become some fucked-up bizarro-ASMR that I can easily fall asleep on the couch to. It's no "How It's Made," but my current cable subscription doesn't seem to carry the channel for that.

I only watch broadcast tv when I'm at the gym, and this means that two nights out of the week I get to watch Chopped or similarly decent cooking competition shows (Iron Chef etc, all ideal gym fodder).
