last night's might have been the best episode yet

ultra-confident morty cracked me up with nearly every line

another great one. i don't have much to say about it. i'd say the best episodes of the season are 1-2-3 and this one, followed by 5 then 4 easily the worst.

Huh I thought this one was the weakest - the premise didn't seem quite as well thought through. Still great though.

Detoxified Morty going nutso in the restaurant was a highlight.

i think this week's is going to stand up to repeated viewings better than any other episode so far this season.

gotta agree with chap – fine eposide, but the weakest so far this season.

tho garbage Rick being the one who also suffered from emotional attachments to family was a quality twist!

That was great, but I'm always wanting this show to get more into its sf elements. Actually think it's doing a better job of having fun with the "Council of Reeds" idea than Fantastic Four ever did (tho "fun" wasn't really the goal there, I guess).

I'm only on season 2 but it's like (as mentioned)Dr. Who plus Back to the Future plus Beavis and Butthead plus Ren and Stimpy plus Aqua Teen Hunger Force plus Futurama divided by, I dunno, Phineas and Ferb. The only bad thing I can say about it right now is how sure I am there is no way in hell I could get my wife to sit through it.

It was definitely pulling from that last Dredd movie a bit, but sorta like the Stand By Me thing, not an outright homage or parody.

i went back and watched a bunch of s1 and man, s3 is a huge improvement. a lot of the jokes in some of my fav episodes ("total rickall") don't even land really. Everything feels really tightened up

the cop morty storyline felt very training day

also, total rickall is still the GOAT episode and i mourn the loss of pencilvester and reverse giraffe every day

hmm i've watched every episode but have no recollection of this [/stoner]

on that note i'm rewatching from season 1. v v funny but also helping to put in perspective, now confident there is no drop-off in season 3

one thing that got a lot better is rick's ad-libbing

Enjoyed the last couple of episodes but disagree that this season is any better than the previous ones. The first couple of eps of s1 are a bit 'finding its feet' but other than that it's gold

Last nights ep was pretty dece. The funniest thing for me tho was something happening in the background for 5 seconds - House Hunters! I almost died laughing, and it was such a dumb joke.

i wanted to spend a little more time with the Truth Tortoise.
