zero learnt from nero (Neil S), Thursday, 7 May 2009 11:52 (seventeen years ago)

Academic anyway since he's continuing!

zero learnt from nero (Neil S), Thursday, 7 May 2009 11:52 (seventeen years ago)

No, I mean he might get a yorker next ball and not know where he is/what the bit of wood he's holding is

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 11:52 (seventeen years ago)

I knew he was continuing

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 11:53 (seventeen years ago)

Don't school me on the laws of cricket, bro

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 11:53 (seventeen years ago)

for anyone listening only, the back of Anderson's helmet has a whopping great chunk out of it, right at the back. If he hadn't been wearing it - boom boom out go the lights.

problem chimp (Porkpie), Thursday, 7 May 2009 11:57 (seventeen years ago)

RIP

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 11:58 (seventeen years ago)

yeah it was horrible. Hope there aren't any delayed effects.
West Indies didn't look interested today which was really bizarre.

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 12:07 (seventeen years ago)

A lot of that is down to Gayle and his savoir faire attitude

Sacco, Vanzetti, Passantino... (Tom D.), Thursday, 7 May 2009 12:08 (seventeen years ago)

Swann is opening the bowling with Broad???? Is jimmy unable to bowl?

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:00 (seventeen years ago)

Jimmy last seen talking to a bust of WG Grace in the long room and has been sent to sit with the duffers in MCC ties.

Prince of Persia (Ed), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:02 (seventeen years ago)

it seems its a ploy to get Gayle swashbuckling early

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:02 (seventeen years ago)

i think he will only get a couple of overs at most before Jimmy comes in

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:03 (seventeen years ago)

Swash is being buckled.

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:06 (seventeen years ago)

Strauss is getting lots of stick from the sky commentators. What do you think LJ?

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:08 (seventeen years ago)

24-0 already

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:09 (seventeen years ago)

what happened? i am confused.

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:11 (seventeen years ago)

also lol

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:11 (seventeen years ago)

what i think is get anderson on ffs you numpties

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:12 (seventeen years ago)

i think i'm pretty much towing the party line on that one

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:12 (seventeen years ago)

England have wasted the new ball 32-0

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:13 (seventeen years ago)

it's only 5 overs old, chillax

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:14 (seventeen years ago)

England have graciously allowed the West Indies their 12th batsman, Winston Extras, who scored a career best of 74 not out in Port of Spain last winter.

Prince of Persia (Ed), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:17 (seventeen years ago)

Nah, he got more in a Pakistan - India game once IIRC

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:18 (seventeen years ago)

but it was a courageous knock for sure

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:18 (seventeen years ago)

They have Prior experience of inept wicketkeeping adding to the opposition's score

Sacco, Vanzetti, Passantino... (Tom D.), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:19 (seventeen years ago)

I think that was Mustaq Ali Extras, easy mistake to make.

Prince of Persia (Ed), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:19 (seventeen years ago)

i cant say Flowers coaching has impressed me so far this year

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:20 (seventeen years ago)

Gayle plays on!

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:32 (seventeen years ago)

only thing is now Sarwan is on. Wonder if we can get him out this series?

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:33 (seventeen years ago)

we did!

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:51 (seventeen years ago)

He was looking really good too so that is a bonus

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 13:52 (seventeen years ago)

love that dude

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:24 (seventeen years ago)

Swann gets Smith with his 1st ball of his 2nd spell.

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:24 (seventeen years ago)

It didnt turn or anything, Smith just seems to struggle against spin and picked the wrong line. Obviously why they wanted him to open the bowling earlier.

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:25 (seventeen years ago)

Broad is now our best strike bowler, weird.

Jarlrmai, Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:26 (seventeen years ago)

you know who is at the crease now. Can we get him out this series?

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:26 (seventeen years ago)

OH MY FIRST BALL

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:27 (seventeen years ago)

They know alot of the windies are suspect to spin

Jarlrmai, Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:27 (seventeen years ago)

Swanny is on a hat-trick

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:27 (seventeen years ago)

Anderson's still the best imo

oh lol

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:27 (seventeen years ago)

That's like the one in the final test that didn't quite carry

sorry for british (country matters), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:28 (seventeen years ago)

That was a good ball

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:28 (seventeen years ago)

Nash is the guy you would want on to save a hattrick

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:29 (seventeen years ago)

and he plays it well

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:29 (seventeen years ago)

WI going off for bad light

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:31 (seventeen years ago)

Early Tea, so hopefully nothing will be lost. Botham & co say the light is perfectly acceptable and no worse than yesterday when England weren't offered it.

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:34 (seventeen years ago)

Drogba says it's a fucking disgrace.

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:34 (seventeen years ago)

Were we bowling 2 spinners when they were offered the light?

Jarlrmai, Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:50 (seventeen years ago)

Swann had just finished his over.

pfunkboy (Herman G. Neuname), Thursday, 7 May 2009 14:57 (seventeen years ago)
