The media needs to stop analyzing Trump, but unwrap the basic motives of his base and give them a thorough public airing, because for as long as they live we'll be grappling with their voting habits.

For some really weird reason, the ABC news here (which is taxpayer funded and supposed to take no sides) presented Trump's "bit" where he said he was doing a 4th term and put that stupid 2028 hat on... as if it was part of a normal speech? Maybe I missed a nuance but it felt weirdly like they were completely eliding the "joke".
