beans smell better than brewed coffee and weed smells better in the bag than smoked (although for some reason weed smells best when someone else is smoking it off-screen)

I always drink Cafe Bustelo but I often find variations in flavor - I wonder if they just select whatever region has teh cheapest coffee that day to recoat - columbia, guatamela etc

Ordered some of the draft latte/triple draft latte/cold brew cans to keep at my office. The only canned coffee I can get locally is Stumptown or Cuvee, both $5/can at Whole Foods, so hopefully these are palatable.

i have mastered almond milk microfoam for my homemade lattes. yay! our espresso maker has a panarello so it took a bit of research & experimenting to get it working ... first few attemps looked like bubble bath suds lol

Looking for recommendations. My Cuisinart programmable coffee maker got knocked off the counter by my cats. It still works, but is probably ready to be replaced. I really love my Chemex, but there are many days when I just don't have the time for it. So I'm looking for something more automatic that will still produce a great cup of coffee. What say you?

aeropress isnt automatic but its fast

tho im sure there must be some ~best~ drip machine, iirc the problem with most drip machines is the temp isnt controlled/hot enough

is a mr coffee style machine actually any quicker than an aeropress? you have to wait for the water to get hot then let gravity pull it through. w aeropress you force it through in approx 20-30 seconds. also i feel weird just making one cup , or even two cups with a coffee machine.

yeah a coffee machine is definitely for 5+ cups imo

Aeropress is too manual and doesn't make enough coffee. I already have the Chenex for that.

I got one of those expensive light roast “geisha” coffees as a birthday present, roaster is called Paradise. Honestly it’s good but I feel like there might be a horseshoe theory with this at one end and fresh diner coffee at the other.

I fucking love coffee but I had to quit. Too corrosive for my stomach, full stop. Thankfully, black tea is a marvelous substitute.

After seven years of strategic incompetence that resulted in coffee being served to me by spouse, I am now actually making my own cappuccinos with the Silvia machine. Still working on my technique, particularly milk texturizing.

I can't believe I just typed "milk texturizing."

A labor of love. I miss it. The La Pavoni has been out of commission for a couple years and just isn’t practical with little ones around. But it’s the best coffee.
