my problem is that I primarily enjoy a latte, just a fucking good awesome latte with whole milk. it's all I want in life. so I'm kinda willing to sacrifice some stomach issues for one good one a week. but the rest of the time I'm stepping back to iced cold brew concentrate with almond milk creamer and being like the dog in the house on fire 'this is fine'

Could you take a lactase tablet beforehand and drink a latte whenever? (assuming the stomach issues relate to lactose intolerance)

vg have u tried oat milk? i normally hate all dairy alternatives but that stuff tastes like full fat milk to me. oatly brand's foamable version is the one i like.

can't even imagine the effort it must take to milk all those individual oats

I take about a cup-and-a-half to 2 cups to work in my trusty Yeti knockoff Rtic thermal cup thing, so that's close. But for the real Thermos action you've gotta hit up my father-in-law. He keeps a Bunn restaurant style double-warmer maker running 20 hours a day (he sleeps maybe three) and keeps a vintage Thermos filled from that. Drinks coffee, chainsmokes, walks back and forth in his thousand-square-foot house, keeps WWII docs blaring on his old furniture tv. It's wild (and toxic) visiting him.

His brand of choice is the off-brand big cans of arabica from the discount grocery store a few blocks away.

I bet he makes it as weak as an elve's glass?
