why do i hate that artist thing that people keep posting on my facebook so much? why am i such a jerk?

right now, the first 6 posts in my feed are people listing bands, the 7th is someone saying they don't listen to live music, the 8th is another list, and the 9th is a joke about the list of bands

half of my page is people posting and commenting on new music videos. what is this, the 90s?!?

I hope to fuck all these lists are for a good reason. Is there some magic happening I'm not aware of that's going to free the gays in Chechnya? If not, throw a bucket of ice on your heads and guess which cube is melted.

I liked guessing my close irl friends lists who've I'd seen a bunch of said listed concerts with. It seems like basically another form of "guess my fav..." friendship test. I KNOW U LOVE PURPLE AND ALSO WE SAW DISTURBED TOGETHER LOL!

Overly inclusive Mother's Day posts are grating on me today. I mean I think the sentiment of including people who want to be mothers but can't, people who lost their children etc is very good. But "women who have chosen not to become mothers" IDGI. It's fine to choose not to have kids, but that's not what Mother's Day is for. We might as well also include fathers, men who have chosen not to have kids, little girls who are too young to have kids, etc. Also "women who have difficult relationships with their mothers." JFC! It's called Mothers Day! It's not about you!

I would support Facebook giving you an option to blot out unseen every single post that mentions either of the parent holidays tbh.

tbh the "history of mother's day" crap is horrible, who gives a shit, just celebrate mothers
