the whole liz being called out on "preferential treatment" because she asks for help with heavy lifting and doesn't let them fart was weak. this week i'd say office > 30 rock.

i thought liz being unable to carry the water cooler was LAME. women be being oppressed yo.

the florida=america's australia i liked tho. what was with the weird sentimentality of the jack/his mom plot line? that made me a little nauseous.

i kinda rolled my eyes at the water cooler thing bc it is such a lame sitcom gag but then i loled because it was like 'lol we're doing a lame sitcom gag'.

also bc spilling water is funny.

What made it unfunny - she changes it from another waterthingy right next to it! Why not just use that one? etc.

A couple of you read way, way, way too much into whether or not they are doing "meta" jokes or not. The water cooler thing was just Fey doing slapstick really, really well.

watching an episode from the start of series 2 last night i was startled at how much weight Tracy has gained, he looks skinny as fuck in the older ones in comparison.

water cooler gag was so lame

The only fault I had with the water cooler gag was that Ellen did it on her sitcom much better almost 15 years ago.

Seinfeld did it too. Between that and the Cosby-sweater I was wondering if the episode was full of sitcom references & tropes. Since no one's pointed out anything else, I suppose not.
