A new 30 Rock thread because I can't find the old one

still liked last night's ep but last two weeks have not been up to standard i hate to say

does liz say 'don't jump' when they jump cut between tracy walking down the stairs slowly and he appears at the bottom? because that's brilliant.

yeah im not sure if she said that or not but i recall her saying something like "we're never going to get anything done if you walk that slow" --> jump cut which i thought was awesome. if she actually said that, it's ever better...gotta rewatch

That gust of wind made me lose it.

Unfortunately, this episode seemed pretty weak otherwise and I've really been enjoying it lately. The fact that I was working while watching this may be partially to blame for my lack of LOLs.

if tracey morgan decided he was going to open a pie store, where he sold nothing but pies, and by the end of the episode there was a giant pie fight, would you complain about that, too?

come on, the gibbon thinking the doll was her daughter (mirroring jenna's own attachment w/the gibbon) was PRICELESS! I loved that so much.

I dunno, Jenna wasn't being attacked she was being humped, wasn't she?

Also, Pete trying to make a case for the gibbon instead of Tracy being the star of the show was funnie.

They haven't. They've surpassed it on the gags-per-minute count and the stories that hold the gags together actually seem thought out rather than just poked in as an afterthought.

Except I meant that as a compliment to the writers, because plotless 30 Rocks are rarely as good as plotted 30 Rocks. I think the last two weeks have been some of the best eps of the season (or even the series).

I love this show, and am willing to wait if they need to spend an episode or two setting up funny jokes.

Liz vs. the water cooler had me in stitches.

"She bit off my nutsack" vs "It's America's Australia" for best line of the show.

"You voted for Nader" wins best callback of the week.

'time jump!' and 'that's just the speech from quantum leap' = a+

that was really weird, did actually "don't jump cut!" followed by a jump cut to Tracy at the bottom of the stairs?

Tracy is such a character he transcends all boundaries and glitches the Matrix, while Liz Lemon is aware? What the what! Sorry, I mean twist!

the build-up to and payoff of the "WHAT THE HELL TIME IS IT?" joke was perfect
