Have they mentioned Trump at all? The few episodes I've listened to leading up to & since the election they haven't mentioned it. I can understand wanting to stay apolitical (kind of) but given their whole deal is commenting on the absurdity of modern American life it seems like a big thing to avoid

They kind of talk about it without mentioning Trump specifically in the guns episode (555, I think). I haven't listened to any more recent episodes, this 2 episode per week schedule is too much for me.

i'm about 20 behind. the chang & ang fucking situation story from (i think) 535 was all-time

they have always steered pretty clear of politics. I remember a couple of Romney disses in 2012 but not much besides.

think it's part of a general mission to avoid talking about the same shit everyone else is talking about.

that & avoiding current events almost entirely gives the archives a bit of a timeless quality imo
