i've tried to watch this show multiple times and never found it funny. what is wrong with me? or you?

I just watched the Gang Broke Dee yesterday. It was the only episode I missed that season.
Is "Landslide" an actual comedian? He looked familiar.

yes, he's Lavell Crawford. used to be on ComicView, and recently also Breaking Bad.

he was the dude who had one of my favorite bits on ComicView, where he was saying some woman came up to him and asked him if he was Men at Large, and he replied "BITCH, I ain't BOTH of em!"

or that might have been Bruce Bruce. can't recall, but he was funny as hell back in the day

If curious, Lavell Crawford's has a standup special on Netflix from a few years ago. It's good.

feel like the other characters wld still be interested in mentioning the development tho

all of them are so self-absorbed all of their views of other people are one-dimensional

mac being gay has been a big topic of conversation over the years, he finally admits to it and they just drop it, unbelievable

dee still hates being called a bird though

was getting caught up on some seasons 8 & 9 eps that i missed. Dee's tossed off "oh I got my nails done like Flo Jo" in Charlie rules the World almost killed me. I love Kaitlin Olson so much.

last night's had moments but was the weakest of the season so far, appropriately meta since Charlie and Mac's moms really are pretty crappy characters.

Mac's mom yelling "I smell like shit!" in that one episode still makes me howl

i died at charlie thinking mac was talking abt getting soup

i liked it but i didnt like the first ep fuck a cinema nostalgia meta musical

lol charlie saying the pear tastes like sand

and eating the whole thing and the sticker

yesterday's was funny, didn't quite live up to its premise though

"What are the rules?" was pretty brilliant

Charley as Brendan Dassey was uncanny.

i take it the reason i found no lolz was that i haven't seen Making a Murderer?

Love how the show has amped up the production budget as well. Helicopter shots of the city were pretty great and fit the format.

Felt like that was a bit if true detective 2 or night of.

But the direct references were making a murderer and the jinx

I'm kinda thinking the male stripper episode might be the best of this season. It's definitely Sweet Dee taking her lunacy up perhaps up to the same level as Dennis.

it was nice to get what I guess is a more "traditionally" structured IASIP episode where there's separate plot strands that are all individually funny and fully realized that then also dovetail together perfectly. Was dying @ Daddy and Boy's performative dialogue
