Zing Touch: ILX now ON IPHONE (and ipod tooches too)

I just want to say thankyou for the Block Poster feature on Zing, it's great :-)

does it only work on the app or does it work on the browser too?

Just the app I think, tap on an individual post then the exclamation mark on the top right corner and you get the option to either flag post or block poster

it makes me read ilx on my phone A LOT more

I finally bought this a couple of weeks ago and have been reading ILX a lot more than I have in recent years. One thing I might be missing is: How does one share or link to a post?

i've deleted this and reinstalled and it still won't sync with the website's bookmarks :(

One thing that's possible is people are mistapping the bookmark icon. I've found myself doing it.

Also, to successfully bookmark you both have to hit the button dead-on *and* wait for the "bookmark set" message. If you miss or go back too early, it won't be set. That has been driving me nuts.

What it shouldn't affect is bookmarks set on the site appearing in the updated bookmarks list. Are you seeing that?

Zing/ilx just don't communicate at all, w/r/t bookmarks

like if i open zing right now, threads that i read and bm'd on the website are showing up in the list. if i bm them in zing, they go away, but that isn't reflected over on ilx.

Zing doesn't even have notifications yet. But there's an early (unofficial) Android app up thread you can play with ^^

I'm sorry if this is old business, but the xpost bug is the worst thing ever and I personally would prefer there to be no xpost warning at all and I wonder if others feel similarly

cool :-) but in the meantime I honestly would be ok with the warning simply not coming up at all, if that's possible/easy to implement?

Unfortunately not - that's a rule in the server. You have to see it once, then you can say "ignore xposts". That's where the bug lies.

I can't turn my font into a heart. So I am going to say no.

I changed the serif font on the last release because the old one looked a bit mish on iPad; the standard font is the Apple default one, and that changed from Helvetica to San Francisco with iOS 10, perhaps you saw one of those two?
