Oh god, CP, I'm sorry this experience has been so hellish for you guys. Anything I can do to help, let me know and I'll try, despite me being pretty fucking useless at the moment. We pretty much have to stay in the SE. My job is in London and my wife's having enough trouble getting any support from the NHS as it is without having to try and get referred to another hospital so we're going to try and stay within taxi distance of the hospital.

After that I'm going to see local DJ/Producer Jaime Read doing a 5 hour set at Mono, which may possibly be less your cup of tea, but you've not got far to go home from the Quadrant.

Ah, sorry Matt, I have two nerdy babes coming over to play Sherlock and commiserate with me, otherwise I might have been tempted. The Quadrant seems to be getting pretty good for gigs and stuff, it's just a shame it's happened when I've been barely able to go out for the three seconds it takes to get there.

I'm recording all day, so it depends on whether we run late, whether I'm knackered, etc. But aside from those factors it does slightly increase my chances of going out, as I'll already be out so it'll be less of a giant step.

I was going to come to the SoL gig tonight, but the fucking trains aren't running AGAIN. ffs. I'd have to leave at 10:45 and wouldn't get home til 2am. How often is it possible to get a train from Hastings to Brighton at the weekend cos it seems like never.

Despite train strike it looks like trains are actually running tomorrow so I'm going to attempt to get to Wolf Eyes at West Hill Hall.

Yeah thanks Matt, it was pretty good! Was treating it as a bit of training run so I was just tootling round enjoying the sunshine - most of my long runs I just dawdle about in the woods eating crisps and listening to music, so it was quite mentally taxing having to deal with all the people and general lack of snack breaks, but it was a good vibe and I wasn't too hungover, so yes - really enjoyed it.

Hope CP got back to Hastings okay on Saturady - sorry I didn't stick around at the end, I was in need of a bit of a lie down at that stage.

(We had a moral quandary about playing the 'Con Club' and majority ruled that it probably wasn't okay to play there. Tbh I would've completely sold out my principles for Faust, but not everybody is as venal as me.)
