My first time on this thread, really enjoying it.
I actually liked some art by one of the artists posted on here. I communicated with him briefly and I was considering telling him his political and social criticism art was too obvious and poor but I didn't know how to put it and I'm not used to giving that kind of criticism.

the themes in Loach movies are commendable, but his idealised proles are very dull - but I wouldn't call him trenchant at all. Probably dogged would be a fairer description.
