adding u to a blocklist

idek how i got on a blocklist except i like to start shit and tell truths

some of them are auto like everyone who follows x account will be blocked which seems dum cause what abt hate following

how do i follow more people who aren't bad

academics and people in my field are mostly boring. weird twitter smells bad. who is fun. i like chuck tingle.

yeah i'm blocked by chu and i never interacted with him, i assume bc i follow felix and matt bruenig (rip) and so forth xps

i unfollowed mrs brueing cause she was RTing ppl begging for mr to return and it was cloggin up my feed

there def needs to be a feature where if someone you follow retweets more than 2 tweets in like a 5 minute span you don't see it

music twitter is not great, the convos seem to get lost and are hard to follow and fragmented. kInda sad cos that seems to be where everyone is talking now.

one tactic i use is when there's an extremely viral tweet that everybody RTs but the actual account who posted it only has a handful of followers- i'll follow them and see what their life is like. been connected to some interesting average joes/janes that way as well as people who are very different than me culturally, etc- appreciating that is what i used to like about the internet but can be harder when everything is centralized on all these different social media hubs

web twitter is the most broken internet thing i use on the regular my lord

yeah the platform diffs are egregious. the app on ipad (phone too? idk) gives you push notifications when e.g. a poll closes, there's no way to know otherwise. and it doesn't do this in your mentions. or on android, at all.

I prob wouldn't Twitter at all anymore if it weren't for Tweetbot

i wish they could save and or sync how far back in your timeline you are, between app/browser/etc- I like to stay caught up and it seems like that feature should be easy (?)

tweetbot does that, obv not for browser but between devices

it has so many weird broken lil things like i get this error message frequently that says im mot allowed to RT a tweet but really i have already successfully RTed it, sometimes theres persistent phantom notifications, and on and on

i use it all the time (tweetdeck)

just glimpsing tweetdeck gives me a panic attack

haven't gotten a phantom notification in a while

sometimes it's nice to queue up articles in different tabs, mobile app isn't as good as that

save to pocket feature on mobile is good for that if you plan on never actually reading the articles

i have tweetbot set to open links in safari, each new one opens in a new tab but you do have to bounce back to tweetbot

Don't do music twitter as I only to the sounds of feedback jams and broken tapes
