Erm. Now my older ZING wont allow me to post. I had to wait til I had access to a PC so I could mention this

Yes am afraid this might be the end for the old Zings: "It Is A Mystery" often means "your login cookies expired and we couldn't get new ones".

As the server has changed, old zings would have worked until their cookies expired. Most will have expired now. I'd update them, but Apple makes it incredibly difficult to build software for old iOS devices nowadays

loving the app stet, but am ignorant of how to enable multiple accounts, getting an error message 'multiple sites on the same server are not supported'. not trying to be a sock, just ended up with two accounts when i changed email address, can anyone enlighten me as to my folly pls?

I can see how this is confusing, sorry. You can't have two accounts on the same server, only on different servers (eg ILX and the Sandbox).

If you want to start using a new ILX account, remove your existing account first by swiping right-to-left on it in the list of accounts.

Shouldn't need to do that — just remove the old one in Zing, and add the new one.

You can also just delete Zing and reinstall it if it makes it easier

- by default, only downloads images in thread view on wifi, you can change in settings
- if you tap on an individual message you can watch video or bookmark it
- bookmarks are fake - they don't sync with your regular bookmarks since you're not logged in

Just the app I think, tap on an individual post then the exclamation mark on the top right corner and you get the option to either flag post or block poster

it makes me read ilx on my phone A LOT more

I finally bought this a couple of weeks ago and have been reading ILX a lot more than I have in recent years. One thing I might be missing is: How does one share or link to a post?

i've deleted this and reinstalled and it still won't sync with the website's bookmarks :(

One thing that's possible is people are mistapping the bookmark icon. I've found myself doing it.

Also, to successfully bookmark you both have to hit the button dead-on *and* wait for the "bookmark set" message. If you miss or go back too early, it won't be set. That has been driving me nuts.

What it shouldn't affect is bookmarks set on the site appearing in the updated bookmarks list. Are you seeing that?
