Portugal kind of remind me of Germany at WC 2002. Really not good enough to be going as far as they did, sneaking wins over Paraguay, USA and S Korea. And they were finally beaten, so there's hope.

There were only 3/4 players in that side who were anywhere near memorable. Oliver Kahn and Ballack were the driving force behind that team, except Ballack was suspended for the final and Ronaldo will be there.
