It's really small (layout is the same as the Arrow Bar (long bar with thin path to a little back area for dj/band).

wait what? I've played shows at Stranded, is this new?

the issue is that stranded sf is not letting people put show flyers in there and the clerk gave some shitty response and then steve made a post like "sorry! we're just getting started!" but it's not like having a little section to put flyers is a hard thing to do.

and stranded oakland also didn't allow people to put show flyers there, according to other ppl

Wandered into the store the other week to say hi to a couple of folks and yeah...it's, um, stark in there now.

guna go ahead and say that if you're not letting kids put flyers for their shows in your record store, youre actively anti-punk no matter how many crime records you reissue.

the best comment was someone posting a pic of an old school flyer for a suicide gig and saying that it wouldn't be allowed in the store

they haven't even put their signs up yet sheesh guys

I like First Church although shows tend to run a little too late for my old SF living self.

Stranded in SF is going to fight an uphill battle for a bit simply due to replacing Aquarius. I don't remember any of this kind of talk about the Oakland store when I was there.
