My point was more that the audience shouldn't be very intrigued by this development. The fact that they (the Lannisters) are broke never got resolved either afaik so there's really nothing going for her. I guess she can finally go after Snow White now that she has the right outfit for it.

Jaime perhaps is likely more rattled by the fact that she actually carried out the thing he explicitly stopped by killing the last person that threatened to do it, however more isolated it was (Mad King was trying to blow up the whole city iirc)

jaime-cersei def got some unfinished biz and ya cersei is super weak but i dont think she cares shes on some hedonistic death cult shit at this point

She may not care but what can she possibly do. Shouldn't take too long for the united armies of the South and East to sail directly to King's Landing so there isn't much time either.

Benjen wasn't simply brought back to life he was sort turned into a half wight as well. Different category. Otherwise Ser Beric Dondarrion would have some serious issues by now.

there is a subplot to mance and friends north of the wall where they are trying to find a legendary horn that will bring the wall down when it is blown. there are other related bits of lore scattered but that is the main thrust of it

Jaime going to add Queenslayer to his curriculum vitae imo, has prophetised by witch (Mel?) in the hut a couple seasons ago.

skipped last couple seasons, watched the last two episodes - the ascendance of various redemptive female figures made me think maybe there is something thematically going on about the age of men passing before an age of women, altho Jon Snow's continual presence obfuscates that a bit, so maybe not.

also show is still best described as expensively gratuitous ie tons of money spent in the service of a ton of narratively/structurally unnecessary gore/violence/nudity it gets p tiresome

The part where the little kids stab Pycelle to death was pretty gratuitous (not money-wise, but just unnecessary). Like, just becuase these kids do some spying for Qyburn doesn't mean they are up for shivving a dude.

Pycelle was a threat to Qyburn ... now Qyburn can have his job.

I know you guys are all into your maps and plotholes and shit but really this show exists entirely for one thing: money shots involving the inflicting of violence. It's about on the level of b-level gore movies in that way, it's just dressed up in ren faire finery and cgi
