I've had a couple of cold brew pots, they've al beenl more of a pain in the ass than brewing in a mason jar and then pouring it through a Chemex filter.

I had an iced espresso with milk today at a local 3rd-gen. First time seeing it on the menu. It was kind of a mini latte and was served in an 8 oz mason jar. needed more milk. only $5

Had a cap this afternoon, was quite good. Place by my work has the classiest looking espresso setup -- the group heads basically swan out of the counter on individual "necks" and the rest of the machinery is below the counter where you can't see it. Also, if you are getting a to-go coffee, they basically hand it to you open and put a lid on a saucer for you rather than having you grab one off some stuck-together stack. It really gives the feeling of luxury service in an impressive way, just via small details, e.g. the fact that there is no machine blocking the space between you and the barista. Justifies the $4 for an 8oz cof I guess.

I just spent $22 on a cup of cof made from beans that were pooped out by an Indonesian luwak. It's v good and interesting but not the best ever imo. Also for the love of god plz don't judge me for spending so much on a cof, I'm on vacation and it's a splurge

stevie idk all the deets & obv i don't have all the figures in front of me rn but i just wanted to check in itt to sign off on yr future coffee purchases for the rest of yr vacation, don't see any problems w these transactions, am confident that the expenses ppl can write them off as legit, wd encourage you to stick to a ceiling of $50/cup & not above unless there's a good reason, within those limits go for it you are only there once

Had a bottle of Chameleon cold brew. Way better than Starbucks or the Stumptown Nitro but still just okay.

i had a really good coldbrew from a peruvian stand at a food fair

was kinda surprised since peruvian beans are kinda meh

Bought a bag of roasted Yirgacheffe beans from a local roaster (Avoca) to see how my first roast with similar beans compares. The Bonavita dripper and Chemex flash iced brews I've made today have both been flat and tasteless so at least on this tiny ass sample I WIN I WIN I WIN.

Has anyone had cascara - a tea/rooibos made from the cherry of the coffee bean? There are a few places selling it online but nowhere local to even try a cup.
