The problem with Arya's arc since splitting from The Hound is she gets zero 'fun' interaction with other key characters and it's not clear who she'll be running into next. They crushed the life out of the Jaqen character too - both should join the playgroup ("fuck a many faced god, a man shall tread the boards!").

Not really given that the entire season has been building up to it. Literally everyone who's been paying attention to the show (and how previous seasons have been structured) knows what they're going to do in Episode 9.

i guess when i think of joffrey's death it's more that i want him to have a horrible and shocking death, perhaps interrupting hubris, rather than some solemn moral act of revenge.

Don't really see Sansa ever killing anyone directly. I think he needs a v slow agonising bloody death and Brienne is best primed for that (he's barely met anyone and a confrontation between them is surely planned) - or I suppose he could be gangshanked like Jon was.

I'm looking at that title for episode 9 and all I can think of is Daniel Day-Lewis yelling "Bastard in a basket! Bastard in a basket!" near the end of There Will Be Blood.

I think it might feel odd because it seems wrongly timed? Names for battles tend to come much later than the battle, so knowing the name of a battle beforehand seems odd.

Could be worse: could be called 'The First Battle of th Bastards'. But it does imply some resolution between the two.

Chances of Ramsay being torn to pieces by wolves are probably pretty high actually.

I just learned that Podrick is not Gendry and feel like the series is ruined for me. I've been so worried for Podrick every time someone who might want to kill one of Robert Baratheon's bastard sons has been nearby. Bah.
