― the devil's runes (reddening), Friday, 17 April 2009 07:25 (seventeen years ago)
I loved the Indigo Girls jokes too, which I only remembered about an hour ago.

"I don't need to read it. The whole thing is loosely based on an evening I spent with Isaiah Thomas."
This is a deceptive quote, because the Jenna/Jack exchanges owned this episode.

― Johnny Fever, Friday, 17 April 2009 17:10 (seventeen years ago)
i'm on record as an avowed non-shark-watcher and for me i don't really get salty about subpar episodes if the batting averate is still high, but i gotta say i usually laugh obnoxiously loudly at 30 Rock and during last night's show i was practically silent the entire time.

I think we should probably all just accept that some significant percentage of our opinions about strong vs. weak episodes is probably based on personal stuff like how amused we are by specific subject matter, what kind of mood we were in while watching, whether or not we'd had a drink with dinner, etc.
Cello "Muffin Top" was pretty great, though
