the setup for arya's impending departure from the house of black and white would've made more sense if she had kicked that girl's ass in their fight this episode. arya is established as a bad ass and it's time to move on. maybe that is too pat and obvious but the alternative - that she leaves and the whole drawn out experience hasn't really resulted in anything at all - is surely worse. it wasn't even close either, that girl fucked her up. the story should be about her instead.

the whole thing is shes not really cut out for this religious assassin life

I feel like they're driving towards her ultimately leaving without converting fully while still being able to abuse the face-swapping/fighting skillz she picked up during her training.

also like how far will she go against her presumed innate starkian qualities before turning back xp

I think a lot of that audience hates that girl and wants Arya to beat her up. I think the girl also has a bit of an ego for a supposedly faceless person and she might suffer for it.

I really don't think Arya will be able to complete the training because Jaqen will probably know if she still wants to be a Stark. And I don't think all this training will yield nothing.

where did bran get the clothes he's wearing? didn't know there was a balmain x rick owens outlet in the big tree.

just wondering what his game is, outside of inciting a war between North ppl that will ideally kill a lot of them off

seems like hes just trying to get her to attack winterfell and the point of that meeting was to tell her that her uncle has an army that can help, once the boltons are gone he becomes the warden of the north

unless the other Northern houses are stoked on House Stark and then he has competition? Like wouldn't he want the Boltons and the Starks to die?

cersei did promise it to him but ya obvs in reality it cld get messy, maybe hes planning on swooping in and defeating sansa after shes weakened from fighting the boltons, his whole scheme seems kinda weird and bad like what was the point of giving sansa to the boltons in the first place if he wants to replace them it just alienated her

all the gripes ITT are either nonsense or nbd, this was good. there's still scope for at least one more big face-swapping betrayal ala mission impossible 2, could make for a stylish exit for arya

whatever happened to Sansa, he would still conceivably win -- if she stayed with the Boltons and was mistreated, it would be a pretext for war, if she escaped the Boltons, it would still be a pretext for war.

Yeah but they swarm her if she holds it so better kill count. If she threw it they wouldn't have any reason to stop and accumulate so it'd be less effective DUUUUHHHH
