Oh, thankfully it's not like that here. Most of the old school Marxist chauvinists have either died or they're in the actual communist party, the socialists are fairly progressive and green too.

Here in America voting green is equivalent to saying "I voted for my kids' birthday clown, 'cause he makes me feel good."

My thinking was, in a deep blue state, it wouldn't hurt to vote according to my actual policy positions.
