apparently my college friend Josh Diaz will be on tonight's episode.

Wait a minute...is this the same supercutie who went to the Kentucky Derby with y'all?

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Tuesday, 2 September 2003 20:59 (twenty-two years ago)

nope. But he's cute too (and hung, I hear).

hstencil, Tuesday, 2 September 2003 21:03 (twenty-two years ago)

oops (Oops), Tuesday, 2 September 2003 21:12 (twenty-two years ago)

hstencil, Tuesday, 2 September 2003 21:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Nichole Graham (Nichole Graham), Tuesday, 2 September 2003 21:18 (twenty-two years ago)

All Millar threads are up for grabs! I think teeny is making a case for squatter's rights. *ahem*

Tickle My Iris.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Tuesday, 2 September 2003 21:36 (twenty-two years ago)

just is not good enough. Tracer is OTM - just about every gay guy i know falls into the category Tracer suggests and to add inslut to injury they talk/ dress/think the same. listen to the same Music etc. it's depressing. Maybe i just dont know the right ones but i have LOOKED HARD for a long time.

Hello.

Chris P (Chris P), Tuesday, 2 September 2003 21:41 (twenty-two years ago)

This show is unbearable, I couldn't make it through the one episode I saw. Those horrible MOR queens and their predictable blab. "Don't you just love the gays? Aren't they just the cutest? Daddy, I waaaaannnt one!" Tracer's so right.

I wish they'd all go away, especially that Carson guy. I mean, they're everywhere now. No, wait, the food guy's OK.

Trish! The Bear! (Arthur), Wednesday, 3 September 2003 02:14 (twenty-two years ago)

I didn't get to see the episode with my friend tonight because my cable is inexplicably out.

hstencil, Wednesday, 3 September 2003 02:24 (twenty-two years ago)

i did like how they ripped on the guy & his date.

Kingfish (Kingfish), Wednesday, 3 September 2003 02:29 (twenty-two years ago)

The Greek guy's apartment was a disaster.

Bad Caribbean bordello chic. Bleh.

miloauckerman (miloauckerman), Wednesday, 3 September 2003 03:07 (twenty-two years ago)

so thanks to tokyo rosemary, I saw the episode. It was good. It was the first time I've ever seen this friend of mine wear anything with color. Plus, a few other friends were on the episode too.

hstencil, Thursday, 4 September 2003 23:00 (twenty-two years ago)

The funny thing about Butch is they just made him look like every other style-conscious NYC guy, whereas pre-makeover he looked different and interesting.

So they're doing Oprah-style makeovers then? Do they also now look ten years older than they looked before the makeovers?

Christine 'Green Leafy Dragon' Indigo (cindigo), Friday, 5 September 2003 00:40 (twenty-two years ago)

hello chris - are you hear to save me? Too much hateration earlier from me - i must have been going thru one of my very frequent bouts of loathing.

jed (jed_e_3), Friday, 5 September 2003 15:13 (twenty-two years ago)

I just watched the first two episodes last night, and have resigned myself to saying "Sssssuper! Thanks for asking!" all chipper like to the first person who asks how I am.

Horace Mann (Horace Mann), Friday, 5 September 2003 15:15 (twenty-two years ago)

I watch an unseemly amount of television and have still managed to miss this entirely.

Larcole (Nicole), Friday, 5 September 2003 15:16 (twenty-two years ago)

I think I've seen all the episodes, hstencil. Does your friend have curly black hair?

Sarah McLusky (coco), Friday, 5 September 2003 15:20 (twenty-two years ago)

Sarah, he was the one with a fire hydrant in his apartment.

tokyo rosemary (rosemary), Friday, 5 September 2003 15:22 (twenty-two years ago)

Awesome. THat's the one I have taped.

Sarah MCLusky (coco), Friday, 5 September 2003 15:45 (twenty-two years ago)

Stence, saw the episode when it aired: your mate cleans up very well. (Plus, what an amazing-looking girlfriend!) Does his place still look that clean, I wonder>

How long until the debut of Straight Guy For The Queer Eye (30 mins of attractive straight men gazing into the camera)?

How long until the debut of Straight Guy For The Queer Eye (30 mins of attractive straight men gazing into the camera)?

No, it'll be straight guys teaching gay men how to play football or whatever.

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Sunday, 7 September 2003 20:27 (twenty-two years ago)

according to one ILXor, gay men already know how to play football, Michael.

hstencil, Sunday, 7 September 2003 20:41 (twenty-two years ago)

This could mean only one thing: I'm not gay.

Michael Daddino (epicharmus), Sunday, 7 September 2003 20:53 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't think I'm qualified enough to make that determination.

hstencil, Sunday, 7 September 2003 20:58 (twenty-two years ago)

I thought the whole premise of Queer Eye was that attractive straight men don't exist!

Any thoughts on the new season?

I think it's interesting that they now show the fab five interacting with the kids in the household, which they didn't before. Also they obv have a bigger budget, which is kinda neat but kinda dud because it's just that much more unrealistic.

How did they get Ted Nugent on Queer Eye?

miloauckerman (miloauckerman), Wednesday, 18 February 2004 01:33 (twenty-two years ago)

Chloroform?

Kingfish Beatbox (Kingfish), Wednesday, 18 February 2004 01:40 (twenty-two years ago)

A friend of mine has been obsessed with this program since it practically began, so of course naturally she would drop me a few hints here and there that I needed to check it out. Well, last week I decided to give it a go and OH MY GOD it's my newest obsession! I LOVE Carson, certainly, and Jai is a wonderful doll, and Ted needs his own Food Network show STAT, and MY GOD KYAN IS GORGEOUS, but... wow... Thom. Thom. Wow. Thom. Wow. WOW.

I love this show. I'm more than happy to ignore the hataz and watch this show as many times as I possibly can. Not just for Thom, mind. ;)

OH YES, AND SOUNDTRACK ALERT! SOUNDTRACK ALERT! Not ONLY does it include a remix of a brand new song by my Beloved Boys From Birmingham (which I think is ALMOST as good as the original), it also includes an amazing mashup featuring Fischerspooner and Billy Squier.

Is Cabbage's mate going to be on telly at last?

Madchen (Madchen), Thursday, 6 May 2004 13:14 (twenty-two years ago)

Has someone informed Dee?

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Thursday, 6 May 2004 13:18 (twenty-two years ago)

I hope someone shares it on slsk or something, for dee's sake. I mean COME ON, queer eye with english accents???!?

teeny (teeny), Thursday, 6 May 2004 14:29 (twenty-two years ago)

I don't get that cable channel. Or any channel that's shown Queer Eye in the UK (er, is there one?)
