I dont *think* this is spoilering anything but if you're avoiding GOT spoilers, avert eyes...

(edited for lulz)

The complaining about stalling is pretty funny, when in a way the show has speeded up immensely how fast it takes for characters to go somewhere. Arya spent 3 seasons (?) wandering around Westeros before she got on the ship, it took Jamie a season to get with Brienne to Kings Landing. But it only took Tyrion half a season to get to Meereen, and in this premiere Jamie goes Dorne-Kings Landing between episodes, and Daenerys gets to the dothraki camps as well. And I complained about Melisandre getting to Castle Black from Winterfell in the last thread.

So they're getting rid of the sense of scale of the place. But they're not really replacing it with any propulsion or action.

― Frederik B, Wednesday, April 27, 2016 12:53 AM (8 hours ago)

yeah but once you discover locations you can fast travel between them

looking closely at the letter it's sorta funny, how they explain that they made the sex tape as a result of the "stress of touring" or something

in fairness, when touring is stressing me out I like to tape myself raiding the breakfast buffet at the Hampton Inn. got about a thousand hours of footage by now. eggs, cinnamon rolls. toast. really lets the steam off to watch my breakfast buffet tapes

I think it was originally a play on the mystery writer, the longer version was like "M is for Michigan by Sufjan Grafton" or something like that. It was a good dn.

Daithi Bowsie (darraghmac), Tuesday, 17 May 2016 19:24 (ten years ago)

xp was originally 'V is for Vermont' because Sue had most recently published "U" is for Undertow. Your version is better tbh because Sue Grafton actually finishes what she starts. As imago knows, I'm not actually so happy about being stuck with it now.
