Honestly!

Onimo (GerryNemo), Monday, 16 January 2006 16:43 (twenty years ago)

OK, I´m a believer! Galactic theme makes everything look suspicious in Madrid and surroundings these days.

And how much would be for a train fare btw Liverpool and GLW, btw

Mooro (Mooro), Monday, 16 January 2006 17:25 (twenty years ago)

Oi, Glasgow, tomorrow night. Belle and Sebastian. Virgin, ABC. Somewhere between those lies a pub. I will be in it. Will anyone be joining me?

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 16 January 2006 17:54 (twenty years ago)

The Variety is a handy sort of bar.

Mädchen (Madchen), Monday, 16 January 2006 20:04 (twenty years ago)

Mädchen (Madchen), Monday, 16 January 2006 20:05 (twenty years ago)

The five gentlemen or the pub? I still have no idea what I am doing - Neil is threatening to take me out for food now since I have no firm plans. Shall I text you tomorrow?

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 16 January 2006 21:17 (twenty years ago)

ailsa (ailsa), Monday, 16 January 2006 22:17 (twenty years ago)

Impromptu ILXor meeting last night: Cozen
Not-very-impromptu ILXor meeting: Madchen and Stet
Fairly impromptu, but not entirely unexpected, ILXor meeting: Keith W
Celeb count at B&S gig: Gerry Love, Stephen Pastel (Madchen took a sneaky photo), that bird what used to do that late night debate thing we talked about upthread that Stew was on once - oh, yeah, Trial By Night.

We think Murdoch's had singing lessons.

ailsa (ailsa), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 14:29 (twenty years ago)

Oh, yeah, other celeb at B&S = Sandy Nelson who plays the postie in Still Game and was in the Century of Fakers video. Glasgow's good for liggers, isn't it?

ailsa (ailsa), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 21:27 (twenty years ago)

sandy nelson at jongleurs at the end of march

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 22:18 (twenty years ago)

he went to my school.

jed_ (jed), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 22:23 (twenty years ago)

He used to be in a comedy musical thingie called Tequila Mockingbird. They were like an indie version of the Barron Knights. He used to be in my social circle when I moved in different social circles several years ago. He made a shed-load of money for being in Braveheart for about ten seconds. There ends my knowledge of rubbish Sandy Nelson facts.

ailsa (ailsa), Wednesday, 18 January 2006 22:24 (twenty years ago)

I too am wavering about this. I was spectacularly dissapointed with the mayer/kohnke night in april. Plus, I have to work on sunday, although not until the afternoon.

grimly fiendish (grimlord), Thursday, 19 January 2006 11:27 (twenty years ago)

I haven't had a drink since last Saturday! Worrrying, I feel more fuzzy headed in the morning than I usually do. Last night seems hazy.

Well it was given out along with a promotional leaflet for Gl4sg0w Ch1r0pr4ct1c - with whom I've previously associated Sc1ent0l0gy type practices (see Chiropractors...do they work?) so they may be adopting new techniques to get us all to pay cash money to eradicte musculoskeletal subluxations.

Onimo (GerryNemo), Thursday, 19 January 2006 12:12 (twenty years ago)

*eradicate

and no, I haven't eaten it yet, but it looks more appetising than the dry looking clementines I brougt from home.
