After the aforementioned 2.5, I did 1 afternoon cup on the way in to work, & an espresso not 15 mins ago. ilu coffee, ilu coffee thread

now, the only remaining challenge = not walking to the cafe down the road for a dirty chai at 10:30 tonight... but just talking about it makes me want to!

Harbl, it was a wedding gift from my parents and has seen huge amounts of use in the 12 years since, a kitchen all-star.

I'm gonna have to show off some cof tech in my next daily entry.

Weird to me that so many of y'all drink coffee before working out—maybe it's because I swim & my biggest issue is pacing myself so I don't tire too fast, but I greatly prefer exercising either before my 1st coffee, or after crashing from my 3rd/4th/5th/etc

I take comfort in the knowledge that I have sleeping pills at home I can take later, as long as I haven't had any alcohol--but also, if I *have* had any alcohol, it will be because the caffeine energies push me to go out to the bars after work, & that's not a bad outcome either

Best-case scenario, I run into my crush at the bar, she's like "wow, your breath is intriguing & your energy level is good, we should have sex directly" (my crush typically speaks with a british accent in our imaginary conversations)

Update: Coffee @ 10:30 last night DID NOT help me 2 get a beezy naked, DID help me open up in conversation with an old buddy, talmbout gardening & the state of our hearts & hatching schemes for all the clothèd beezies of this town (more innocent than I possibly made it sound just now) before I finally went to bed at 5 AM EST (t plus 6.5 hours from time of last coffee consumption, t minus 3.5 hours from right effin now)

... coffee makes me better at bullshit, I guess is what I'm saying *cries*NOW PLEASE can I have some????

i was in a hippie town in the mountains a while ago and i really liked the mugs at their coffee shop so i asked the lady if they sold them and she got really confused for a moment as if that was some totally left field request she cld barely comprhend then she recovered and said the guy who makes them will be coming in to collect the compost to feed his chickens at some point and i cld wait around and talk to him lol

It used to bother me that when I put the Chemex filter in there'd be three layers on one side but only one on the other. I wanted a filter that was even. I haven't used it in years, are they still this way?
