5. A lot of Twitter’s recent moves seem like dude-fussing.
Are you familiar with dude-fussing? It’s when you go camping and someone feels a primal need to poke at the fire every 30 seconds. Or when someone is barbecuing and they cant just ​leave the fucking burgers alone.
These actions don’t have any real effect. But they are fussy and make a great show of effort at doing something to make it all better.

feel like they'd just get the most important devs and found another startup, the decent ones would go to other tech companies like snapchat or something, and yeah, the rest, who knows

The 10K thing seems like something I could live with as long as your feed is just the 140 character tweets with a link for more. I could just unfollow those that can't get everything in to 140 characters.

fair point. google's acquisition spree(?) goes under the radar. they'd be up to no good with twtr. if goog could die off it'd be a fine time for the web

i tried to make a poll about my 2016 style but both my options were considerably longer than the max character limit so now im all in favor of this change

Will be interesting to see how apps will implement it. I'm sure it will make the Twitter homepage even more unusable than it already is. You should never use it anyway.

I think the best possible outcome is ignoring one retweet from someone you follow instead of a series of fifty because they found some numbered story worthy of retweeting
