coworkers are always like, why do you stay so late? um, because i get paid to be here for 8 hours? i'm going to start leaving 30 minutes early every once in a while just so i fit in more and don't make them look bad. i realize i'm bragging but fuck it, i love where i work, gotta share with internet presences.

yes, this afternoon is bad. made worse for me by the fact that my boss was phoned today for a reference for me for a job i interviewed for earlier in the week, so im both waiting for the end of the day and waiting for an email saying "you got the job".

xps. thanks, it has been a while, i.e. years, since i had a permanent job and wasn't just doing contract work so it's pretty nice to have holiday and sick pay again.

currently all of my energy is being expended digesting a large amount of food I put in me
