'Darth Vaper' works, but why the fuck did they have to go and put "may the vapour be with you"? That's not a pun. It's not even close to a pun. FFS.

Nick, maybe your one is run by someone called Pam? And she's trained the pets to say her name while purring? "Pam," purred pets.

You could be on to something there. A bit like if Jimi had called that one song MaryCriedWind

perhaps not a per se horrible name, but there's a new place near me called Roast n Co -- it' s a rotisserie chicken and gourmet coffee place that is owned by Jeff Ross, the comedy central roast guy. Durrrrrrrrrrrr

Saw some of these in the supermarket, maybe it doesn't hurt their sales but the name sure seems misguided.

IMHO, that's as cringe-inducing as this line of soft drinks:

In addition, maybe I'm being a little prissy but something kind of grosses me out about drinking gourmet coffee in a place that smells of chicken fat.

human life won't become a cat (man alive), Tuesday, 19 April 2016 15:23 (ten years ago)

There is a multi-trade type bodger/handyman in my area called The House Doctor, the name could be worse but his work van is a converted ambulance which still retains much electric yellow + very much still looks like an ambulance. And also someone I know who used him to repair some stud walls said his joinery/plastering skills were "fucking dog rough".

calzino, Tuesday, 19 April 2016 15:44 (ten years ago)

xp nothing prissy about that... "rotisserie chicken and gourmet coffee place" sounds disgusting.

"crops 'n bobbers" is perfect... but what is the wagon thing above the sign?
