lol i just went & searched for a transliterations thread, which doesn't exist.

my roommate is named robert, which in the khmer language roughly transliterates to "find and suck". so, he asks cambodians to just call him rob.

A 21-year-old man appeared at Bristol Magistrates' Court this morning charged with raping and grooming a 12-year-old girl.

Jack Smoothy, from Yate, is charged with raping the girl between September 30 and October 31. He is also charged with grooming the girl after allegedly contacting her on more than one occasion.

The grooming charge relates to activity on social media, while the alleged rape occurred in the Bristol area.

Dressed in a white t-shirt, silver chain and grey track-suit bottoms, Smoothy spoke only to confirm his full name and age.
