i didn't even know who wayne dyer was. one guy i have posted about on the 77 facebook statuses thread is always tearfully RIPing these random people. like "RIP self-help guru dr. wayne dyer, my heart is broken." or something. i swear he just learned who that is today, just like i did. hearts, thoughts, and prayers to his family!!!!

he's also kind of the only reason i don't quit fb. i just like to read his statuses.

I dunno if I'd know who he was if I hadn't worked in a bookstore, but I think he was at least 1/7th of the self-help section. Sez Wiki: "His first book Your Erroneous Zones (1976) is one of the best-selling books of all time, with an estimated 35 million copies sold." So I'd believe that the kind of person who posts a lot of anguished status updates of people they've never heard of could have in fact heard of this guy.
