My little niece had blisters from her new dress shoes after her Mum's very important thing. So while her Mum finished up, we wandered down Victoria Embankment to see if we could find her some Union Jack flip flops or something equally cheap and tacky. We ended up outside Charing Cross and found an Accessorize, where there were cheap kiddie flip flops. But this girl is so slow at choosing what she wants and my partner will give in to this. I was hungover and tired from the important thing so I paced up and down the shop for ten minutes while she tried on the three different options of flip flops endless times. Just as I was about to suggest this 6 year old should walk through Covent Garden bare foot, Michael Smiley walked past with the smallest handbag dog on a lead, listening to his headphones and mumbling to himself.
