oh man peet's had a mayan mocha for a while & it was pretty good

I had to leave that place because the wifi was so horrible it kept kicking me out every five minutes and I'm trying to get some work done so I can go home and hang out with my awesome family. Now I'm at this ridiculous State Farm owned cafe drinking a tea called "Summer Romance" because nothing embarrasses me anymore, apparently.

por ejemplo, the last slug of my mayan mocha was all delicious peppery chocolatey sludge and it left a joker-smile of chocolate curling up from the left side of my mouth and I didn't notice until I walked two blocks and rode a train and a bus and went to the bathroom here. I noticed people looking at me but I thought I was just looking particularly fly today (I am, at least once I wiped the dark brown smear off the side of my face).

I just drank a fucking coffee

forgot to make more cold press drinking hot cof

yesterday i spilled my iced coffee all over my car on the way to a conference

i had barely drank it before it spilled so i had to stop at "starbies" and buy another one, "cold brew" it was garbage tbh, mine was way better

i managed to spill that one too though

i have typically been a hot coffee only drinker but i have been making my moka pot cup extra strong and letting it cool off for maybe 20 minutes and then pouring it over a bunch of ice, it is coming out really tasty tbqf i am very happy with it during the summer right now

so i had to stop at "starbies" and buy another one

priorities locked down real solid

"well i'll tell ya you know i need my morning coffee"

dont even try to talk to me before ive had my cof ;)

My new workplace has an actual espresso machine -- they fill it with starbucks beans which are slightly nasty, but it's still not bad, and much better than keurig. I usually make two shots and add a few oz of whole milk and maybe one sugar, sort of like an ersatz, luke warm cortado. It does have a steamed milk thing but it's automatic and draws from a reservoir of skim milk, which is gross.

I was trying chefsteps nitro infusion short cold brew technique but forgot the canister in my fridge for almost 24 hours.
It came out delicious - so smooth I'm drinking the concentrate straight - but the sludge (used an espresso grind because I wasn't going to screw with my settings) at the bottom looked like the worst Natty Light+Taco Bell diarrhea when I poured it out.
