Schünzel's work was very popular in Germany and the Nazi regime gave him the title of Ehrenarier or Honorary Aryan and allowed him to continue to direct and act despite he was a Jew ( A Jew is any person whose mother was a Jew or any person who has gone through the process of conversion to Judaism). Aryan comes from the Sanskrit aria, which means noble, and according to the Nazi ideology an Aryan is a Caucasian of non- Jewish descent

Bathrooms[edit]
Leave It to Beaver is unique in 1950s television sitcom history for its extraordinary number of bathroom scenes. Beaver and Wally have an en-suite bathroom, and many scenes are set in it. One early episode, "Child Care," is set almost entirely in their bathroom.[53] Other episodes include major scenes set in the boys' bathroom.[54][55] Additionally, in almost every scene set in the boys' bedroom, the bathtub, shower curtain, or vanity can be seen through the open bathroom door. Beaver uses the bathroom several times to escape his brother when angry, slamming the door to express his emotions. At such times, June and Ward are called upon to order Beaver to vacate his refuge. In "Beaver's Good Deed,"[45] a scene is set in Ward and June's bathroom. A tramp takes a bath in their tub and slips away wearing one of Ward's suits and a pair of his shoes. In the "Captain Jack" episode, Wally and Beaver try to hide a baby alligator they bought by keeping it in their bathroom's toilet tank.

The bathroom paragraph suggests either (a) a fetishist whose familiarity with the show is limited solely to this topic, (b) a crackpot fan with a theory no one believes in, or (c) a sorta garbled gloss of someone's graduate thesis in the humanities, the latter also possibly written by A or B.

Was Leave It to Beaver the first prime-time network program to show a toilet? Not quite. It can lay claim to being the first series to show a toilet tank, however, and to be among the earliest programs to show a bathroom in any form.

Fannie wrote that one should not short the sugar in a cake as there will be a loss of texture and a disappointing taste. Reviews of the history of sugar’s ascendency in modern diets have noted that Fannie was an early advocate "of adding sugar to practically everything: Bread, vegetables, salads and their dressings." For this she was labeled the queen of American sugar-pushing people killers by a sugar alarmist.

McDowell was "absolutely horrified" to hear that Wells spoke in a high-pitched, squeaky voice with a pronounced Southeast London accent, which McDowell felt would have resulted in unintentional humor if McDowell tried to mimic it for the film.

In the weeks before his death, he told friends and journalists that an unidentified American was following him, and that he feared his opposition to the auction could endanger his life. His behaviour became increasingly erratic, and once he insisted on speaking to a visitor in the garden because he said his apartment was bugged.During the night of his death, his sister, Priscilla West, telephoned his apartment, obtaining only his answering machine, which had a new message with an American voice (this was found later to be the standard message tape supplied with the machine). Her worries about this resulted in the discovery of Lancelyn Green's body, face down on his bed, garrotted with a shoelace that had been tightened with the handle of a wooden spoon.Murder was suspected, and there was some newspaper gossip. Because the CID was not called at the start, any evidence that might have been useful for a murder enquiry had been disturbed or removed during the course of dealing with the body. The Coroner returned an open verdict. Many of Richard Lancelyn Green's best friends thought it was not in his nature to commit suicide. However, some thought the death to have been an elaborate suicide, intended to seem like murder, to cast suspicion upon one of his rivals. This replicates the plot of one of the last Sherlock Holmes mysteries, The Problem of Thor Bridge, in which a woman commits suicide in a manner meant to implicate the woman with whom her husband had been flirting.

What travels back to your brain's visual processing center, are thousands of parallel signals, each vibrating with information that has been pre-processed, by that eye-centric processor, to contain both color and shape and perhaps even an evaluation of emotional clarity. So not only is the color discerned by the interference of two colors, but the relationship between the cones themselves has further shaped the perception of both meaning and reaction, that either satisfies or revulses, and so alerts our reflexive reaction before ever being seen by our upper thinking centers at the back of our heads.[12]

While there is no rule on whom one should greet, tradition dictates that groups send greetings to other groups whom they consider their friends. Other groups, usually newcomers to the demo scene who don't have sufficient contacts, prefer to greet groups whose works they consider influential or high-quality. Some groups occasionally send greetings to individual people.

Applause is always awarded for an entry after it was shown, even if it was a below-average quality entry by someone who never created a production before; it is usually the actual effort behind the production that's awarded. It is not uncommon to hear applause during the display of a demo or intro when a remarkable effect is shown; this type of display of respect is generally considered a huge achievement and is highly regarded by the creators.

Much of the movie was filmed in an old, long-empty Masonic temple in Glendale, California, owned by actor Rock Hudson. The nine-story building was a series of makeshift "sound stages" stacked floor after floor, some big enough to create the midway scenes indoors. This was the studio used that year for production of The Creeping Terror, another low-quality monster movie. The Film Center Studios were popular with non-union producers, because they could turn off the elevator to lock out IATSE union agents, who found it difficult to climb the stairs to the seventh floor main stage.[2]
